and I’m glad you found me sitting writing in this quiet little corner. I tend towards the contemplative, thinking deeply about the hard, the ordinary, and beautiful things of life, and often they intersect don’t they!

Grace & Space is a place I hope you can find space to rest for a while; a place where you can find encouragement for your soul; a place where you can slow, and breathe, and be.

My books and other info

I have a written three books:

Grace & Space: Prayers of Peace for Everyday Life, a collection of 40 prayers and blessings. There are prayers for the unknowns of new beginnings; the unravelling as life shifts and changes; and the mundane yet beautiful ordinary everyday.

Note: Yes I have named my newsletter Grace & Space too. This idea of resting from striving, (that is just being), is a key part of my writing and my journey. Also, I have found that when I give myself grace, I have more grace for others and I am more able to notice the astonishing grace I receive daily from Jesus, my friend.

Beauty in the Ashes: Learning to Lament, a book on grief and lament sharing my story of infertility and miscarriage, but also the stories from other women of their hidden griefs. It is an account of honest grief, showing how the hurt and the healing are intertwined.

Blank Pages, a collection of poems written during my time of infertility and miscarriage. Poems of lament, fragile hope and honest grief.

I am based in Perth Western Australia, married for over 25 years and the mother of two beautiful girls who just keep growing and are now in high school.
